Description

Reduces the Risk of Tearing

Research has shown that perineal massage from 34 weeks of pregnancy can reduce the risk of needing a cut in labour or badly tearing. Down Below contains a blend of Evening Primrose Oil, Rosehip Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil and Calendula Oil which are rich in antioxidants, Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, assists in skin elasticity and promote skin healing.

Calms the Appearance of Stretch Marks

Down Below isn’t just for perineal massage! Down Below contains a blend of hydrating and moisturising oils which makes it perfect to use on areas prone to stretch marks, such as the stomach, hips, thighs and breasts. The added Rosehip Oil also aids in skin elasticity, making it perfect to use on your growing bump.

Perfect for Sensitive Skin

During pregnancy your perineum can be a very sensitive area and highly prone to irritations or thrush. We therefore felt it important to not put any fragrance or essential oil into our Down Below, especially as some women find these type of ingredients leaves them feeling sore in their intimate area. In fact, Down Below is totally allergen free so it’s perfect for the most sensitive of skin!
